Hi there! My name is Amy Long and I am excited to teach 5th grade Social Studies this year.

 

My family and I moved to Van Alstyne in 2013 and we have loved being VA Panthers ever since. My husband and I have two kiddos, one of which attends Van Alstyne High School and the other is a recent VAHS graduate. When I'm not reading a book, you will most likely find me hanging out with my family and our two dogs. I also enjoy cooking (and eating), traveling when I can,  spending time outdoors, and relaxing poolside. 

 

I am so grateful for the opportunity to teach our Partin Panthers, and while I may be biased, I think 5th graders are the best! It's going to be a great year!!
