Meghan Matthews
Hello! My name is Meghan Matthews, and I am the special education teacher at Partin. I am so excited to work with your child this year! During my career, I have taught Kindergarten, 2nd Grade, and 3rd Grade ELAR/Social Studies. I began teaching in 2014. My undergraduate degree is from Texas A&M University - Commerce, and I have a masters degree in Curriculum and Instruction with a focus in ESL from there as well. I am certified in SPED and ESL. Currently, I am working on my reading specialist certification. During my free time, I enjoy spending time with family, traveling, and watching sports. I am married to my husband Michael, and we have a daughter. We have a family dog named Cash that is a lab mix. Teaching is my passion and something I enjoy. I look forward to a great year with your child, and I love being part of the Partin and Van Alstyne ISD family!
