I was raised in the city of Mesquite, where I first crossed paths with my spouse, Matt. We now live in Van Alstyne along with our two teenage daughters, Emma and Brooke. Our family takes pleasure in bonding with our extended relatives, immersing ourselves in outdoor activities, and caring for our beloved companions - two dogs and a horse.

I have been in the field of education for over two decades. My career began in Mesquite ISD, where I had the privilege of teaching second grade. Subsequently, I transitioned to McKinney ISD, where I had the opportunity to teach both second and third-grade students. During my time in McKinney, I also served as an instructional coach, honing my skills in supporting and guiding other educators. In 2020, I joined VAISD as the assistant principal at Partin, and now, I am honored to be your principal.
