Hello! My name is Windy Cooper and I am so blessed to be part of the Partin Panther family!

I married my husband, Jay (a Van Alstyne alumni), in the summer of 1996. The following summer, we moved to Van Alstyne and planted roots.  We have three “almost” grown sons, Riley, Camden and Carson.  

I began my teaching career in special education in 1998. I taught for 3 years and then took some time off to stay home with my boys while they were little.   I returned to the classroom in 2007 at Partin Elementary, formerly known as Van Alstyne Elementary.  I have taught 3rd and 1st grade. I love creating fun lessons to get students excited about school and fostering a love for learning at a young age.  

When I am not at school, I enjoy spending time with my family. I love wearing panther blue and cheering on our Van Alstyne Panthers! I also love decorating, crafting, eating Mexican food, drinking coffee, Rae Dunn pottery and all things farmhouse!
